FFF Enterprises Names Chris Ground to New Role as Chief Operating Officer

TEMECULA, CA–(Marketwire - January 18, 2011) – FFF Enterprises, Inc., the nation's largest and most trusted distributor of plasma products, vaccines and critical-care biopharmaceuticals, has just announced the promotion of Chris Ground, thirty-year healthcare veteran and more than twelve-year company executive, to the new position of Chief Operating Officer. Chris steps into the role after serving as the company's Senior Vice President of National Accounts where he managed FFF's major corporate business partnerships and played a key role in guiding its sales operation. In his new position, Ground will be more involved in the oversight of various divisions within FFF.

Ground joined FFF Enterprises in 1998 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In the past decade, he has helped expand FFF's distribution of biopharmaceuticals from $178 million in annual revenue to more than one billion dollars today. Additionally, Ground was instrumental in launching FFF's flu program in 2001. A decade later, the company is the largest distributor of flu vaccine in the country. Ground was also influential in helping FFF become the nation's leading distributor of plasma products, while serving the Immune Globulin and Hemophilia communities with a patient-centered, responsible distribution channel and a portfolio of patient resources.

Ground began his career in the medical industry in 1980 as a sales representative for Bristol Laboratories. In 1986, Ground joined Cutter Biological as a Sales Representative, and continued with the company when it became Bayer Biologicals. He helped launch Bayer's Gamimune N, intravenous immune globulin; Prolastin, alpha protease inhibitor; and Kogenate, recombinant DNA Factor VIII concentrate. Ground received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1980, and an MBA from Claremont Graduate University in 1998.
