Recently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that so far, 6 to 7 million people have come down with the flu this season, and between 69,000 and 84,000 have already been hospitalized due to the illness. In addition, CDC "expects flu activity to continue for weeks and continues to recommend flu vaccination and appropriate use of antiviral medications."
