CDC Reports a Widespread Activity of Severe Influenza Illness

According to the CDC Health Advisory, an increase in activity is reported nationwide, with widespread activity popping up in several states.

Take proactive steps to protect your patients now by encouraging them to get vaccinated before the spread of flu worsens. The CDC advises, "All patients who have not yet received an influenza vaccine this season to be vaccinated against influenza. This recommendation is for patients 6 months of age and older."
