Shay Reid

Chief Operating Officer

Shay Reid is chief operating officer for FFF Enterprises, Inc. (FFF) As COO, he leads the operations and supply chain teams with a focus on improving efficiencies in FFF's product distribution processes. In addition, he is a key contributor to the product development efforts related to the company's forward-deployed inventory solutions.

Prior to joining FFF, Reid achieved success and became an expert in envisioning and executing business solutions for a variety of industries, held leadership roles for multiple system implementations, and led the design and build of more than 42 distribution centers nationwide, including three highly-automated manufacturing centers and three automated pharmacies.

He brings more than 28 years of professional experience as an executive leader to companies in the pharmaceutical industry. His experience in consulting, manufacturing, engineering, and distribution provides a broad range of solutions for different supply chain challenges. His deep-rooted passion and drive for continuous improvement enables him to tackle these challenges with the mindset of "Accomplish greatness today that enables us to better serve tomorrow."

Reid held an appointment to the U.S. Department of Commerce's Advisory Committee on Supply Chain Competitiveness and served as a board member of the Prescription Drug Security Alliance that influenced the enactment of the 2013 Drug Supply Chain Security Act. He holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Mississippi State University and an MBA in healthcare management from Western Governors University.
