Patrick M. Schmidt is the Founder and CEO of
FFF Enterprises, Inc., which he founded in 1988. He is recognized as a leader in the healthcare community, having introduced several industry firsts that have paved the way to create solutions to challenges faced by both healthcare providers and their patients.
Patrick established FFF with a mission: To make the biopharmaceutical supply chain more secure, and ultimately, to achieve the goal of Helping Healthcare Care®. This motto drives every decision at FFF.
In 1995, Patrick also founded Nufactor®, Inc., a subsidiary of FFF Enterprises that specializes in the treatment of patients with chronic conditions, with concentration on treating rare disease states in neurology, immunology, hematology, oncology, dermatology and rheumatology. Through FFF and Nufactor, Patrick has made it possible for his employees to have a positive impact on the quality of life for the patients we serve.
Through FFF's Guaranteed Channel Integrity™ (GCI), Patrick has centralized his focus on securing the pharmaceutical supply chain. FFF's commitment to GCI, our pledge to purchase product directly from the manufacturer, and ship only to licensed healthcare professionals, has resulted in more than 33 counterfeit-free years of product distribution, and more than 100 million lives that have been protected. In addition, FFF continues to pioneer innovative technologies to help solve industry challenges. This includes our Verified Inventory Program™ (VIPc)®, a product consignment program that offers real-time inventory management that continuously monitors critical-care products, allowing healthcare providers to focus on patient care, not their product inventory.
Patrick has also helped to solve the issue of timely recall notifications through our Lot-Track® service, which tracks products by lot number and provides our customers with an electronic recall announcement within four hours of the manufacturer initiated recall.
Patrick's commitment to providing customer-driven innovations also led him to develop two online product ordering systems: MyFluVaccine™ (MFV) and BioSupply®. The MyFluVaccine program offers choice and convenience, allowing customers to select from a comprehensive portfolio of influenza vaccines and ancillary supplies from the industries top manufacturers. With MFV, customers choose the products and the quantities, and we deliver! The BioSupply online platform makes ordering critical-care products easy, fast and convenient through streamlined order placement, access to drop shipments, reporting tools and more. All of these revolutionary approaches are evidence of our continued commitment to Helping Healthcare Care.
