An innovator and accomplished Chief Executive in specialty biotech pharmaceuticals and oncology cancer care ecosystems for more than 26 years, Burt Zweigenhaft remains a trusted, independent, and respected key industry thought leader.

Currently, Burt serves as Executive Vice President, Corporate for FFF Enterprises, the industry’s leading national supply channel partner for pharmaceuticals, human blood products, vaccines, and critical-care biopharmaceutical products to health systems, care providers and payers. In this role overseeing an innovative shift to Smart Distribution Alliances where Providers, Payers and Pharma collaborate to optimize access, outcomes, and economics in Value-Based Syndicated Smart Healthcare Distribution and Care Networks. Burt also serves as Executive Vice Chairman of KlearTrust, LLC, in partnership with FFF, an innovative technology platform capable of ingesting real-world evidence to compute complex Value Based Contractual Agreements between payers, providers, and biopharmaceutical market segments.

Burt is Founder and current Executive Director of the Association for Value Based Cancer Care, a 501(c)(6) educational organization to foster collaboration and the exchange of knowledge between all stakeholders in the cancer care ecosystem. Additionally, the Founder and Past President of the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP), and Executive Director Enterprise Trade and Strategy for Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) now part of City of Hope.

Previously, Burt was the Founder and Managing Partner of Upstream-Partners, LLC; a Life and Health Services consulting and investment advisory firm focused on commercializing biopharmaceutical innovation and technologies into healthcare ecosystems. Upstream served clients including Merck, Astellas, Sun, GSK, AstraZeneca, Bayer Sanofi, Pfizer, Takeda, as well as National Payers, Specialty Pharmacies, and supply channel stakeholders.

Burt was additionally the Founder, CEO, and Vice Chairman of Onco360, the industry’s largest independent specialty oncology pharmaceuticals pharmacy provider until its acquisition by PharMerica. He also served as former Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, Government Programs, Trade Relations, and Business Development for Priority Healthcare Corporation.

Prior to 2002, Burt spent several years serving as a specialty pharmacy executive to Medco, CuraScript, BioScrip and several National BCBS and Managed Care provider programs.

Burt holds a D.Litt., Ph.D. from Alfred State College, along with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Economics from the University of Buffalo School of Management, where he also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Committee and remains active with the University of Buffalo schools of Pharmacy, Medicine, and Center of Excellence for Bioinformatics. Burt is a member of AMCP (American Managed Care Pharmacy), HOPA (Hematology Oncology Pharmacists Association), and ASCO (American Society of Consulting Oncologists). He is also the Editor and Chief of the Journal for Value-Based Cancer Care and serves on the Editorial Boards of several industry publications.

Philanthropically, Burt serves on the National Board of Swim Across America for Cancer Research; a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization that has raised over $150 million to date, supporting 58 cancer research laboratories. In 2015, Burt was honored to be the recipient of the CancerCare’s "Help and Hope Award."

Burt resides in New York City and Lake Placid, NY, enjoying swimming, hiking, boating, skiing, and spending time with his wife and three daughters and their families, including his six granddaughters.
